senior pictures makeup?

I am geting my senior pics done tomorrow. I have olive skin, light brown eyes, and dark brown hair. Most of my outfits are kinda pastel colored (white dress, cream colored top, pastel pink top) plus a dark purple long sleeve shirt. What should i do with my makeup? my normal routine is foundation with concelear, blush, a lil bronzer across my nose and forehead, black eyeliner and mascara, and then bronzeish eyeshadow. for the pictures, what color eyeshadow should i wear?? etc.

A deep lilac colour would help to show off the pink top and the purple shirt. But, the best thing is to try it out whilst wearing the outfit.

You say you are a senior, not sure what age that would be, but I’m pleased you are still wearing eye make up! Just don’t make it look too dark.

I agree. An emerald green with hints of gold would look amazing.

I love the face that you are wearing bronzer. That will do wonders for your complexion in pics! The biggest mistake people make is not wearing enough color. You have to "overcompensate" just a BIT because the flash of the camera tends to wash the skin out.

Use the bronzer where you already are, but also apply it to your ear lobes (especially if you are wearing your hair up), under your jaw line, and your neck and chest area.

I would add a pop of color on the apples of your cheeks for the pics. Use a soft rose/pink tone, and apply it on the apples, then swipe the remaining color towards your hairline. This will leave your skin looking very fresh.

Use the rest of the makeup you mentioned, maybe adding a couple extra coats of mascara than you normally would wear. Make sure you curl your lashes first!

For eyeshadows, if you have a soft plum/brown, that would be wonderful! It will bring out your eyes, plus it’s neutral enough to wear with your different wardrobe changes. make sure you also use a highlight shadow (a pale ivory, NOT shimmer, though) under the brow bone, and in the inner corner of the eye. this will give you "life" in pics.

And, if your mouth gets dry easily, especially when you smile a lot, take along some vaseline, and apply a bit to your front teeth. It will prevent your lips from sticking to your teeth when you are smiling so much!

    Good luck!

i would say just wear what you normally wear so that yu actually look like you in your pictures. and remember that what you look like in the pic is how people will remember you looking that you dont see after high school if they look in their year book. so make yourself look good but natural
