What are some good tips for senior pictures?

I already know what I’m going to wear & how I’m going to do my makeup, I’m just looking for some technical tips.

Does anyone have any tips for smiling, body positioning, etc…

I’ve got a girlie style that’s kind of vintage & eclectic on casual days & really glam when I’m dressed up… think charlotte russe mixed with forever 21 mixed with thrift store. (:

I’m doing a mix of casual & dressy for pictures, so tips would be appreciated.

Be yourself. Be relaxed. Don’t smile too big. Have confidence in yourself and your photographer. Do what your told. You don’t have to smile in every picture. Don’t smile does not mean look distraught or angry. Be serious when you need to be, don’t be afraid to laugh at yourself sometimes. Try not to be nervous though, its hard, but its really important. Just be confident that you’re going to look great and the pictures are going to come out really well. Posing will be taken care of by your photographer, i hope. Good Luck!

I got my senior photos taken 2 weeks ago and the photographer chose the poses for me and the photos came out really good. So maybe ask the photographer what they suggest or google photo poses.

i did mines last year. they pretty much told me what positions to do and what not. they will make sure your perfect.. but try not to have the same face in every pic.. that’s the only thing that’s beyond there control.
