What do you think of this for my senior picture?

I’m thinking about getting it done in a giant field and me in the center or in the corner sitting on a bean bag. It’s kinda a far away shot, but close enough to see me good. I’ll be wearing a short hot pink dress and my trademarks– Converse and a white fedora.

What do you think? Is it creative and unique? Because that’s what I was going for.

Also, how do you think I could sit? Straight? Or slouched? Or making a gun with my fingers? Should I smile or have it be more casual?

I think you should sit sort of slouchy, but not lazy and messy looking. sit up, but hunch over in a model sort of way. It all depends on your style though. If your a loud and crazy person, do a facial expression and pose that represent that.

Try not to dress too elaborately, good portraits take simple clothes

If you’re going to be that out there doing something like that, maybe you should take some other props and go way over the top for a few of the shots. I think you should be very casual lounging but have a fake martini in one hand which could be some water in a martini glass with a couple olives. Maybe one of those cigarette holders, like the long stick with the cigarette on it women used back in the 40’s and 50’s.

You’ll likely end up finding the best way to sit to keep your legs crossed if you’re wearing a short dress. But mix it up some. Take some slouching, some very straight laced, you can even face the camera and lay on your belly with your legs far apart and up in the air behind you. Just try to keep it where you’re not exposing your junk to the world since you’ll be wearing a short dress. Good Luck.
